sebastiao salgado by Zach
Sebastiao Salgado is a Brazilian photographer
Sebastiao traveled to many different countries all over the world to take his photos.
I really like how all of his photos really capture the mood and the feeling of what is going on.
I like how they bring a lot of things to light.
They all work a lot with the idea of the immigrant.
Artist Profile--Atiba Jefferson
-He originally focused on skateboard photography, and later branched out to other sports after he became notorious in the skateboarding culture.
-He has been a photographer for fifteen years after high school, and was the main administrator for "The Skateboard Mag"--a staple in the skateboard community.
-Atiba prides himself in his skateboard photography because timing is essential, there is only one moment when the photo is perfect, and you have to nail it.
-Skateboard photography is also a struggle because he works for the skaters, not the other way around. So it is a combination of skill, timing, and commitment--just like skateboarding itself.

Mark Klett by Zach
Klett's photographic work focuses on explorations of man’s interaction with the American landscape
His writing on his photographs really makes them seem a lot more personal
I really like how the photos are very plain and are not very busy.
